Why Add Intelligent Parcel Delivery Lockers?

The increase in online shopping and the resultant increase in deliveries being made has meant that more disruption and inconvenience is caused as staff members have their orders delivered to their place of work rather than to their homes and run the risk of missing the courier.

However, this can mean that workspaces become clogged up with parcels and packages that have nothing to do with the business to which they have been delivered. Staff are forced to devote time and energy to sorting out these non-work-related items, and work time is also wasted while these parcels are either distributed or collected. It’s easy to understand why many companies have banned personal deliveries to workspaces.

But this isn’t the ideal solution. Forbidding workplace deliveries may mean staff have to take time off work to be at home to receive packages, causing ill feeling all round.
